1. Scope
These IP Address Services Terms apply to all IPv4 and IPv6 address allocations provided by RDPCore in connection with our VPS, web hosting, colocation, and other infrastructure services. These terms supplement the General Terms and Conditions and prevail in the event of conflict.
2. Ownership and Licensing
2.1 No Ownership Rights
IP addresses allocated to you remain the property of RDPCore, RIPE NCC, or our upstream providers (including leasing partners) as applicable. IP addresses are licensed to you for use solely in connection with active services purchased from RDPCore. You do not acquire any ownership, transferability, or portability rights over allocated IP addresses.
2.2 RIPE NCC Policies
RDPCore is a registered member of RIPE NCC and operates AS214311. All IP address allocations and assignments are made in accordance with RIPE NCC policies. You agree to comply with applicable RIPE policies regarding the use and documentation of IP address resources.
2.3 Leased Addresses
Some IP addresses allocated to you may be sourced from third-party leasing arrangements. These addresses are subject to the same terms as directly held addresses. We reserve the right to substitute IP addresses from different ranges where operationally necessary, including immediate reassignment if required by the upstream provider, with reasonable advance notice where practicable.
3. Allocation and Justification
3.1 Default Allocation
Each VPS or hosting service includes at least one (1) IPv4 address and, where available, IPv6 addressing as specified in the service plan. Colocation services include IP allocation as specified in the service order.
3.2 Additional Addresses
Additional IPv4 addresses may be requested subject to availability and justification. In accordance with RIPE NCC policies, we may require you to provide a technical justification for additional IP address allocations (e.g., SSL certificates requiring unique IPs, multiple services requiring distinct addresses). We reserve the right to refuse requests that do not meet justification requirements.
3.3 IPv6
IPv6 subnets are allocated where available and supported by the service. IPv6 availability is not guaranteed for all services. IPv6 allocation sizes are at our discretion and are typically a /64 or /48 depending on the service type.
3.4 Ongoing Justification
We reserve the right to periodically review and audit the justification for allocated IP addresses in accordance with RIPE NCC policies. You must provide updated justification upon request. Failure to provide adequate justification may result in reduction or revocation of allocated IP space.
4. Responsible Use
4.1 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity originating from IP addresses allocated to your services, regardless of whether such activity was authorised by you. You may be held liable for damages, costs, or penalties resulting from misuse of allocated IP addresses. This includes ensuring that your services are not used to:
- Send unsolicited communications (spam);
- Host malicious content or participate in network attacks;
- Violate our Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law.
4.2 Reverse DNS (rDNS)
You may configure reverse DNS records for your allocated IP addresses through your client portal or by contacting support. Proper rDNS configuration is your responsibility and is particularly important for email sending. We do not guarantee that rDNS changes will resolve deliverability issues with third-party providers.
4.3 Prohibited Use
The following uses of allocated IP addresses are prohibited:
- IP address spoofing or forging packet source headers;
- Using allocated addresses on networks or services not provided by RDPCore;
- Announcing allocated addresses via BGP without our explicit written authorisation. Any unauthorised announcement may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination;
- Sub-leasing, reselling, or transferring IP addresses to third parties;
- Using IP addresses for services that have been terminated or suspended.
5. IP Reputation
5.1 No Guarantee
We do not guarantee that any allocated IP address will be free from prior reputation issues, blacklisting, or geolocation inaccuracies, including prior use in spam, abuse, or malicious activity. While we make reasonable efforts to maintain clean IP space, IP addresses may have historical usage by previous holders that affects their current reputation. We are not responsible for geolocation database inaccuracies or delays in updates by third-party providers.
5.2 Deliverability
We do not guarantee email deliverability, inbox placement, or acceptance by any third-party service. It is your responsibility to manage the reputation of IP addresses allocated to you, including configuring appropriate rDNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and any other authentication mechanisms.
5.3 Replacement
If you experience reputation issues with an allocated IP address, you may contact support to request a replacement. Replacements are subject to availability and provided at our discretion. We do not guarantee that a replacement address will have a better reputation.
5.4 Blacklist Handling
Removal from third-party blacklists is your responsibility. We may assist on a best-effort basis but do not guarantee successful delisting or any specific timeframe for resolution.
6. Abuse Handling
6.1 Abuse Reports
If we receive an abuse report relating to an IP address allocated to you, we will notify you and require resolution within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours depending on severity. For serious violations (malware distribution, DDoS participation, CSAM), we may suspend the affected service immediately without prior notice. We may take such action without prior notice where required to protect network integrity or comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
6.2 Null-Routing
We reserve the right to null-route (blackhole) any IP address where necessary to protect network integrity, respond to active attacks, or comply with abuse mitigation requirements. Null-routing may be applied without prior notice in urgent situations.
6.3 Repeated Abuse
Repeated abuse incidents associated with your IP addresses may result in permanent revocation of additional IP allocations, permanent withdrawal of IP privileges, service suspension, or account termination.
7. Reclamation
7.1 Service Termination
Upon termination or cancellation of your service (for any reason), all allocated IP addresses are reclaimed immediately. You must update any DNS records, configurations, published references, or third-party services pointing to those addresses promptly.
7.2 No Portability
IP addresses allocated by RDPCore are not portable and cannot be transferred to another provider. If you move your services away from RDPCore, you will receive new IP addresses from your new provider. We are not responsible for any disruption, downtime, or loss resulting from IP address changes upon service termination.
7.3 Substitution
We reserve the right to substitute allocated IP addresses where operationally necessary (e.g., network restructuring, upstream provider changes, compliance requirements, or immediate reassignment required by an upstream provider). We will provide reasonable advance notice (typically seven days) and assist with the transition where practicable. You are solely responsible for updating all configurations, DNS records, and external dependencies following an IP address change.
8. RIPE Database and Routing Security
We maintain accurate records in the RIPE NCC database for all IP address allocations in accordance with RIPE policies. You agree to:
- Cooperate with reasonable requests for information required to maintain these records;
- Not create or modify RIPE database objects for addresses allocated to you without our authorisation;
- Provide accurate abuse contact information for inclusion in relevant database objects.
Where applicable, we may implement routing security measures such as RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure) to validate route origins. You agree not to interfere with such configurations or request changes that would compromise routing security.
9. Refunds
Additional IP addresses are non-refundable once allocated. IP addresses included as part of a VPS or hosting plan are covered by the refund terms of that service. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
